Ski Centres throughout the region

Most Ski Race Clubs  hold an annual Club Championships for all club members to enter.

Plus "timed" race runs for those  who attend club training sessions.

Must be a "Club" member normally.

Eastern Region Ski Association

Summer League Race Series.

Various Clubs throughout the region.

Races held normally on Sundays between May - Sept 8.30 am to 5 pm

All age groups. Male and Female.

 

Must be able to snow plough turn and control speed. Open to members of clubs within ERSA. Fun race, not too serious.

Register on the day. Cost £9.00

Eastern Region Ski Association

Closed Championships

Held at a club within the region.

Normally at the end of the Summer. 8.30 am to 5 pm

All age groups. Male and Female.

Entry criteria may be applied to maintain standard of the race.

Must be a member of a club within the ERSA Region and have competed in at least 2 Summer League Events. The most important race a racer can enter within ERSA. Click for details

Eastern Region Ski Association

Team Dual Slalom

Held at a club within the region.

Normally held in July.

9.00 am to 5 pm

All age groups. Male and Female.

Team event - teams of 4 in relay event.

Must be able to snow plough turn and control speed. Open to members of clubs within ERSA. Fun race, not too serious. Click for details.

Register on the day. Cost £9.00

ESSkiA

English Schools Ski Assoc.

Age 11 to 18

Team Event

Teams of four from the same school. School must be a affiliated to ESSkiA. Ability to control speed and use lift. Courses normally set on the easier side to allow for wide range of abilities.
SSE

Club Nationals

About 9 races per year April - Sept, usually at least one in each SSE Region.

8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Age 7 +

(BG1 and above)

 

Must be registered with the SSE as a Racer. Priority given to the higher seed pointed racer.

Pre Registration required.

Non registered racers allowed to enter provided race is not over subscribed - cost £2.50 extra.

Grand Prix Races

5 races per year April - Sept

Usually one in each SSE Region

8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Over 11

(CH1 and above)

Must be registered with the SSE as a racer with less than 250 Seed Points. Priority given to the lower seed pointed racer.

Pre Registration required.

Other races for SSE Registered Racers include: Inter-Regional Competition, All England Championships, British Championships, Celtic Cup and the Welsh, Irish & Scottish Artificial Championships - all these are held on dry ski slopes.

Snow Races are also open to SSE Registered Racers including English Alpine Championships, Scottish Snow Race Championships, British Land National Ski Championships.
